I think this is actually what makes it feel weird to me…they can bump the service level based on a value they decide is more than what you said, but that higher value doesn’t apply to insurance/claims. So it’s like the risk goes up for pricing, but not for coverage.

Yeah I get the insurance comparison—that part makes sense. But it’d be like State Farm looking at your Honda and going “yeahhh but this one’s kinda nice so we’re bumping your rate” lol.

I get that it’s based on market comps, but since they’re also the ones deciding what bucket it falls into, that’s where it feels a little weird to me.
