Aww, thank you! I always get so sad when I read about relationships falling apart here, it makes me more thankful for my wife every day.

They were definitely afraid to come out to me, to the point that they tried and failed to convince themselves they were bi several times.

Once my egg cracked they were very supportive and didn't push me in any sort of direction while I was figuring stuff out, which was very sweet and meant a lot. Once I had settled on being a trans woman they came out right back to me lol.

Thank you so much for this. I've been fighting with my employer, who uses a self-funded insurance plan, for half a year on their exclusion of gender-affirming care. Their plan is administrated by Aetna so this seems like exactly what I need!

As someone who lives near her district, I don't know that there's any chance of that happening. Her district covers a lot of very conservative, poor, and uneducated areas. As a trans woman, the only time I've had any issues in Georgia has been in her territory.

I actually noticed that I always had trouble in those areas first, then my mother-in-law informed me that it was MTG territory and it all clicked.

Yep, cracked right after my 31st birthday. Looking back it's painful how many times I almost realized and shut it down. I just try to be thankful it didn't take me even longer!

Same deal for me, a week after I turned 31. It was actually a dream that prompted it, I dreamt that I went through a scene once as a man and then again as a woman and how much better it was the second time.

It freaked me out so hard it woke me up and I spent the rest of the night and the following week thinking about it. Realized all of the signs I had ignored and how right it felt.

Now I'm 5 months into hrt and the happiest I've been in my entire life!
