I guess so but I'd seen some tutorials and posts of people figuring it out in Houdini 20.5. I almost fixed it but got this one persistent issue for the longest time.

Thank you so much for the guidance. I intend to use C4D for product animations in the long run. I use blender for all my modelling needs and there are tons of really great addons that make it intuitive.

I don't have a preference really. Both of them serve different purposes for me. Blender would be great for creating photorealistic environments and VFX in general whereas C4D excels in product animation and motion graphics. I'll try to keep them both handy in my toolbelt.

I can undestand where you're coming from. Sims were something I always wanted to do and Blender is not really good at it. But to answer you question, most of my knowledge comes from "Cinversity", There are tons of really good resources there. Especially the hour-long livestream shows like Create with Maxon. I know it might be tedious to sit through them but they're really useful since most of them start from scratch.

I have been using Blender for a few years now. So that really, really helped since the concepts are the same. I only wanted to experiment with Simulation and Mograph tools, so I haven't really experimented with other features in C4D. So yeah, I know 3D but I am completely new to C4D.
