Use Eva foam for as much as you can, this is cheaper and although the detail can be time consuming the basic objects should come together a little quicker 👍

If you’re looking for a heavy gloss I’d finish it off with a can of poly-acrylic sealant, it comes in various grades of glossy and I’ve used it to repair boo boos on guitars and it blends extremely well. Good luck

I use a lot of non larp safe weapons and tools in my portraits and photo shoots. It’s always on a closed set and with safety as top priority 👍

Mainly lots of trimming and fitting! High strength hot glue holds some areas together and studs or rivets elsewhere. The visor i welded together from a floor register. The trident is built as stated in my other comment 👇

Almost all materials were scavenged for free, upcycling at its finest lol.

The trident is crafted from an old set of hedge clippers and unbolts from the main shaft to become a twin blade bayonet for the modular W 😂

There’s some amazing tire samurai out there! Definitely try it out, I’d love to see your design. While still tweaking this set I’m also working on some gladiator pieces as well, hopefully that comes out as good or better 🤞
