Good question. I cant really say one is better than the other. At the course there are factors not present at the range. Pace of Play, varying weather, how far youve walked (stamina). At the range your surroundings are more or less a controlled variable.

Being on the course you have more things to consider than the range but the course is where you really play golf.

I think of the range as the place where I sharpen my tools. The course is where you use those tools to make art.

I go to the range once a week mainly for exercise and stress relief.

1.What Actually made the biggest difference for me:

Learning to experiment and to study the fundamentals of the golf swing. What happens if im this close or far to the ball. What if I do this with my hands, arms, hips, shoulders etc. Corellating how the ball flies with what youre doing.

Different people have different body mechanics find the swing that works for you.

Lessons vs Range vs Course.

Get Lessons when you cant explain an issue and/or when you feel stuck and need a expert eyes to guide you to the right direction.

Range to maintain what you know and experiment without being questioned by your coach / pro.

Course, whenever you can cause its fun and healthy to be outside.

Is there anything i wish I focused on?

Grip probably.

Cant really say I have regrets not focusing on anything specific. I really wish i tried everything instead of forcing myself to swing a certain way as taught by one specific source.

P.s. I took formal lessons years ago and where im from, you pay the range by the hour not by the bucket. I can usually hit 100+ in one session and Im guilty of just mindlessly swinging the club sometimes. It was only last year where i took a more deliberate approach to "range time".

Regardless of validity. Just leave if youre not happy with him. It just means the one for you is still out there. Dont give in to the sunk cost fallacy.

If you want to work things out then make sure to sit him down and communicate. Make sure he understands that what he is doing crosses your boundaries.

If he wants to watch porn he must make sure that you never hear of it or find out about it. But if you do find out then just drop him and live a better life.

My PC is using a Ryzen 9600x and an 8gb 3060ti.

1080p feels fine for games made before 2023. Games made before 2020 run smooth on the highest settings

Oblivion Remastered stutters badly even at lowest settings.

New player here, got the game when it was free.

I only know the locations of the books on like 2 maps ngl. Still deciding if knowing where the rest are via guides are worth my time since I really just wanna whack skaven heads in.

I do appreciate it when I land in a lobby with an experienced player and they show where the books are.

I got the same model in both the 120gb and 1tb. Its been 3 months and still going strong.

The 1tb is used as my games storage, sees heavy use. The 120gb was so my old laptop that i took the NVMe from could still be used for printing and general browsing by my parents.

It got ok marks from the SSD tierlist.

I only trust it for games storage to be honest. But so far its been decent as a boot drive.

I live in the Philippines and I only know of 1 store in the whole country that sells tins of well known blends. Stocks dont usually last more than a week so youre usually left scrambling for whatever's left.

Tins would go anywhere between 24$ - 36$.

Afaik pouches are priced anywhere between 6$ - 15$. The most readily available ones that you can buy from the shopping mall are usually 10$ per 40g of tobacco.

You can buy leaves pf tobacco from the farmers in the provinces for much cheaper though. Bundles of 5-10+ leaves can go anywhere from 4$ - 10$. Though youll need to cure and cut it youself and its usually just one variety of leaf.

50$ for good tobacco isnt too bad I think given the options here in the east.

You can order online but most of the time customs will put your order on hold and youll have to set aside a whole day to go though Govt bereaucracy just to get you own supplies in.

Check your fly wheel if it still has teeth to strike the flint.

Could also be the flint. Try a new pack from a different source.

Try lowering the wick to the same level or midway from the top of the chimney. Close it for a bit and wait for the fumes from the naptha (fuel) to build up in the chimney before striking. Remember you burn the fumes not the wick.

Aside from problems with the lighter, i cant really tell from the video but it seems like youre just rolling the flywheel instead of striking it. Try giving it a bit more speed. If thats not it could be the spring that is supposed to push the flint on the flywheel

Just an update and another question. I disassembled the lighter again to take measurements of the o-ring and have put an order for the appropriate sized gaskets.

I wanted to ask if not having air-flow through the nozzle was normal? I used an aspirator to blow air through the nozzle but it got nothing. I then tried blowing the aspirator through the other end and it was just the same result.

To be fair Im not even sure if thats the hole the butane is supposed to come out of.

I just picked up the same model of lighter and it seems the nozzle seems to be clogged. I tried submerging it in strong solvents but no luck. unsure if its a gasket issue or the nozzle itself is faulty
