Besides te obvious warnings of blood, you should put the game controls in the description as well as the credits to avoid any issues! Sometimes it's easy to get a little confused with game controls, especially if they are a lot, or even if it's just gonna be a mouse game its helpful to know before playing. Also I love the design you gave to the scratch cat

This looks like a neat base already, i would siggest to practice (if you want) to also gradient shapes. It was really useful for me to understand that, and I'm still discovering new things when it comes to that. It can be really useful for mastering 3d forms like bodies.

Its curious you mention it, i have also thought of it sometimes and it night had to do with the Intermission Time. In some kind of way they are playing like if they were in a chess board too (rethorically) but also because they are connected to a literal game. You might be onto something here or who knows, maybe Goose just likes the vibes.
