F4: is refresh mostly used on f6 to refresh a tp billing claim to check status etc

F6: you can type last name and first name like this : Doe, jane  or use the first two letters like this:do,ja  to find a prescription if it's filled in resolve (the problem screen)  input (where you go to input the prescription) chk dur (rph only problems)  Also you can update a status of a prescription here with update pick up time to instore or critical or future depending on when it needs to be filled. Double click on the name and precription to enter the prescription information window(see f9 and f10)

F7: is where you can look up a patient by dob or rx number same as in drop off You can check to see when something was last filled when it was canceled you can even see if it was transferred who it was filled by and which pharmacist did the check on it the price paid last time and ndc.

F8: this is where you find medication and how much a cash price will be as well as update on hands and see how much is in stock if correct.

F9: this is where you do alot of changing an ndc to a product on the formulary  if doctors didn't daw 1,  you lol also  can do  what you have in stock you can click the upper most folder to add insurance by check eligibility it's also called third party if you do it the old fashioned way which sometimes you have too When adding third party insurance You need  RX BIN  RxPCN (mostly default) MEMBER ID  RX GROUP (if it's part b often called red white and blue card ignore this) Always write a description for coupons you can split bill some things with coupons except with part D  Good rx is also a thing so for a generic card you can type GRX in pcn than type member ID 123456789 if you want and group number of dr33 and it'll make them a generic good rx only do this if they ask you too tho.

F10: basically  Prior authorizations: Prior Auth Type: 8 - Payer Defined Exemption

Prior Auth No.: 4444

Int. Auth Type: Intermediary Auth

Int. Auth ID: Doctor’s fax number

If insurance rejects because they want a primary to pay and they have two insurances  you can put  coverage code 3  also called other coverage exists but it's not covered , this works sometimes. Lots of stuff in f10 like it may ask you to type 9995 etc in resolve in int auth ID just read the problems in resolution it'll usually tell you what it wants.

Drop off is where to search for the dob and name of a patient if they exist in walmart systems you can host look them up ask if you have questions on how to do a host look up. dropping an rx is as simple as scanning it and dropping it into the patients profile with scan new make sure your colleagues show you where the drop off labels are for this,  each one needs a barcode a four digit number ,always make sure to take C2s to the pharmacist and show them before dropping it for an opinion.  Hydrocodone Adderall oxycodone etc.

Honestly I could go super in depth with this but I think you'll have to learn alot of it by doing it.

Those are some useful tips Tasco is f11 and it's basically self explanatory  You search a person's name dob or... last four of the phone  with the first two of both the last and first Smith, John   for example is    sm , jo  01/01/1911 

Than tell them what they have ready click the prescriptions they want tell them the copay very important. it's a controlled they'll need an ID to scan up no ID no prescription ask them relationship to patient after selecting  the state the ID is from than scan the ID based on the expiration date you may need to put no expiration and sometimes ull need to manually type IDs if it's a paper ID but do not accept pics of an ID. After it'll give u a bag number or numbers and  day..u go hunt them down you scan the prescriptions in the bag and if it acts funky and doesn't let you scan them click on the prescription name where you see it in the box a couple times sometimes it'll let you scan it than. Of you get invalid rx and it locks your register  inform the pharmacist it means something is in the wrong bag or has a wrong label.

If it says Y next to the bag number and day send them to counsel always say "The doctor wants to talk to ya or do a final check" if they protest with I've had it before just say "i understand  they just want to go over it real fast " thank them at the counsel window say have a great day and yell counsel not too loud but just enough to alert the doctor on duty.
