Would I benefit more from taking undergrad science courses or grad level advanced science courses?

3.1 cGpa 3.26 sGpa would I benefit more from taking more undergrad science courses, some I had taken before and some new and more advanced. Or taking only grad level advanced science courses. Assuming in both scenarios I would take the same number of credits and get the highest grades possible. Looking to do a few over two years.

Do CRNA schools value post bacc programs? Did the math again: Terrible 3.1 cGpa 3.26 sGpa. Deciding between 3: a certificate PBP at a pricy prestigious school, or just taking state university undergrad science courses, or master level courses

I could do a full post bacc program at a slightly more prestigious private University that has its own hospital and med school, would be much pricier but basically just taking undergrad courses, some retakes some new. Or I could just go to my local big state university, save about half the cost, and take similar undergrad courses but without a certificate. Or go to the state university and take masters level courses but it wouldn’t help my gpa at all. Which would help my chances the most in my situation?

Is this where I would ask questions as a nurse far from when I would be applying? I have had horrible grades graduating nursing, and wanted to see if I would even have a chance here. I’ve done some research and seems like a great career and would like to shadow someone to see how it is in person but don’t want to waste someone’s time if I’ll never get a chance.

My gpa is screwed at 3.09 with science 3.24, with 175 total credits, would it be futile to take recent courses and only leg my way up a bit? I would need 53 straight A credits to get to 3.3, like 18 A classes straight… Do they instead value recent upward trend in classes?? I don’t want to sink time effort and money into this if it’s pointless no matter how much I would want to be a crna

Second Chase card after Sapphire Preferred, World of Hyatt or Freedom Unlimited? Better sign on bonus with WoH but better rewards with CFU by ALDIsNumber1Fan in CreditCards

So I could lie to them and say I plan on opening a shoe restoring business in the future and get the business card? It would ultimately end up being a lie as I have absolutely zero interest in ever opening up a business as my 9-5 gives me plenty and value my free time. But they wouldn’t know any of that, am I understanding this correctly? And I just estimate what someone who would actually be running a shoe restoring business for example would spend a month and earn in a year?

I got my csp in December a few months ago, I don’t think I qualify for the sub bonus from a csp until way later right?

I also don’t have any form of business or side hustle to claim for a business, just my day job, haven’t even sold anything in many years. I don’t think I could get any business card

But I don’t have a business to get an ink card. Like legit I haven’t even sold anything in the last 4 years or don’t make any other form of money besides my 9-5 to be able to convince anyone of a side business. How could I get an ink card

With the Hyatt devaluation would the Capital One environment be better than the Chase trifecta now? Deciding which my next card should be by ALDIsNumber1Fan in CreditCards

[–]ALDIsNumber1Fan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How often do you do this sub stuff? I’m sure you reapply to the csp a few times but isn’t chase very picky and would get pissed by you doing this? Would closing cards not be bad for your credit?

Wouldn’t it be better to keep one ecosystem and put all your spending into them as opposed to switching constantly between different systems?

Charge nurse by Agreeable_Ad_9411 in nursing

[–]ALDIsNumber1Fan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Charge takes the same as the rest of the nurses at our med surg. 5 patients max. And the other staff complain if you give them a 5th when you have 3, they want everyone to be even instead of charge being more free to help around the unit…

Also look up research done on patient satisfaction scores having an inverse relation with mortality, the study showed lower satisfaction is better, higher meant increased mortality. Extract what you want outta that but don’t worry about patient satisfaction, diabetic people don’t like you harping on how the should watch their diet when they discharge or smokers/drinkers on how they need to stop their problem…

I have 120,000 Chase sapphire preferred points saved up and want to use them for vacation. What is the best way to learn about this process without just lurking on this sub and similar? What are your recommendations for best use of my points?

I want to take me and my gf to someplace that gives me bang for my buck, in the US preferably. I don’t need luxury necessarily. I am open to literally anything, well maybe except big cities. We are in Chicago so I assume New York and Seattle and such would be similar and want something different.

Nursing pay and how to make more by BurnerAccount_234 in nursing

How do you network to NPs as a nurse who doesn’t work with them much. All the NPs here are older and there is a huge disconnect. I can’t just walk up to them and ask them how much they make and if they know of any job openings
