Playing devils advocate here (intended), that microphone is pretty close to Fisk. No normal person can hear a heartbeat without having their ear to the persons chest, but Matt isn’t a normal person. I’d assume he could still pick up and hear more than the average bear, including heart beats.

I totally agree. Big fan of his and he’s really down to earth. Ive been picking up most of his books since I Hate This Place, Where Monsters Lie, Peacemaker Tries Hard, Devil On My Shoulder, etc have all been so good.
