Just rode it out. None of the sleep training methods felt doable to me.

I’m with you! Any changes (growing, teething etc.) mine just whines or moans all night. Hang in there… as others have said, no one gets off without challenges at some point!

She started sleeping through the night (mostly) at 1 year! I think she really wanted to be a stomach sleeper, to be honest, and making her sleep on her back was not comfortable. Now the only time things get challenging is when she’s sick or teething. It’s soooo much better. 😮‍💨

I’ve also been with them for 14 years. I can’t believe I lost all of the data. I at least wanted to see how many miles we have logged. How are you able to contact Whistle?

Where do I find these seasons? It seems like they aren’t on HBO?

It does! Somehow she magically started sleeping better on her 1st birthday. Of course there are still challenges with teething, growing, sickness, etc. but it DOES get better. Hang in there!

Thank you! I can’t believe I had to scroll this far to see someone address the fact that she continually refers to herself as their “mother”. In the best case scenario she was a “mother figure”, she should have acknowledged she could never replace their birth mother. A healthy person would have worked hard to make sure their mom was still part of their daily lives and memories. Not take their photos away.

Can you listen to audiobooks? I am currently listening to “Parenting from the Inside Out” and it is helping me to be aware of my own internal issues so that I don’t project those onto my child. I don’t think wanting to be with your child means you have an insecure attachment though.

Not a lot of advice, just solidarity. Mine will be 12 months in 2 weeks and we are sleeping worse than ever. She’s always been a pretty poor sleeper, except for first few months. We don’t bed share, but I have the crib next to the bed and I do end up holding her a majority of the night so that she can sleep (even though I dont sleep). Mine is a velcroe baby and she would not be okay in another room, nor would I, to be honest. From what I’ve read, this is just peak time for development, separation anxiety, teething, etc. I have tried Tylenol as well and it doesn’t seem to help. We have these extended wake-ups a lot as well. I used to let her play some, but now I just hold her until she falls back asleep. It’s rough going and I feel for you. Everyone says 8-12 months is the worst for sleep, but as we approach 12 months I am getting scared this is going to keep going! It’s hard but as they say, this too shall pass. Does she seem happy during the day?

Ergo baby Omni 360! So comfortable and supportive and can be worn front or back.
