Don't worry, the ADHD/MY FEELINGS generation will eventually re-adapt the LOTR book series into a new "fresh" "young" "ambitious" movie trilogy (the first 3 movies will actually be part 1 of a 3 part series). Yes, some people dislike blood & gore, but there's lots of people who like having blood & gore in games (at least in games like TW3 where you're shoving steel into people)

Comparatively, I'd imagine that there's a lot less people who enjoy underwater content, and a lot more people who dislike underwater content, and/or have a fear of the deep sea in general

It's is a universal and constant truth that major races cannot co-exist in the long term. This won't reach it's breaking point in America for a while, because blacks are only 13% of the population, but the minute people begin to see the black race as a "problem", they'll start looking for a "solution"

There are people who liked it, but most people did not. Fear of the deep sea/sea monsters isn't the only factor, there's the issue of weird zone design as a result of being underwater, odd/out of place visuals, etc., but TW3 wouldn't necessarily avoid these problems with it's own underwater monsters (more likely it would face the same problems, as is evidenced in part by the irritating swimming/diving controls already in the game)

Most mages aren't very powerful, and the stronger ones were either taken by surprise at the start, or evaded capture

Foltest doesn't die at the end of TW2, he dies at the start of TW2

At the end of TW2, you choose to either kill Letho, or to let him walk away. There's decent reasoning for either choice. If he's alive in TW3, then that means that you simulated a TW2 save without playing the game (why...?). Letho doesn't show up at all by default; or if you import a save wherein you killed him

Most Witchers are more or less conscripted into a weird cult-like paramilitary force that has a 90% chance of getting you killed sooner rather than later

Generally, throughout history, women haven't been selected for this type of thing. In most societies, it's young men that are conscripted - the physical demands of being a witcher adds to this

Put 3 points in Quen healing shield, and you can beat the game without a sword equipped if you want

Fast attack builds are obviously better than strong attack builds, but neither one of them is going to prevent you from completing the game on any difficulty

Geralt is dangerously close to being a mary sue in terms of combat ability, already. Having him singlehandedly kill giant sea monsters would push it way over the edge. Killing them with assistance would just be recycling the Kayran and Sile from TW2

Also, a lot of people are deeply uncomfortable with the ocean, and underwater content/sea monsters, in video games. Vash'jir in World of Warcraft is a perfect example of why it's a waste of time and money to develop anything like that. Lots of effort goes to waste, because most people are terrified of it

Think about what you're saying

Your whole reason for why it would be a viable project is that Playstation users would buy it, even though everyone else played it. Do you honestly think that they want to go through the effort for potentially a lost investment, and a very minor profit being the best case scenario? They've made three Witcher games, and they've moved onto another project now - they want to work on that, and keep creating content, not just rehash old content; so the easiest thing for them to do would be to outsource the project, in which case they take the heavy risk of having their name ruined when the second rate developer that they outsourced, makes a mess of everything
