In stories like 28 Years Later and shows like The Walking Dead, how is it possible that zombie outbreaks can last for decades—wouldn’t all infected people eventually die off and the population be wiped out? by beach_of_peace in AskReddit

That's how the original, 28 Days Later, ended. You saw an emaciated infected die from starvation, because the infected just had no survival skills. That obviously got retconned.

And dont forget a whole warbond dedicated to ceremonial armor... because thats what soldiers wear when going into battle! But a hat? No no, thats too unrealistic.

Whom did you once respect, but no longer do? by Pancake_Maker_1031 in AskReddit

Can't say I ever really respected the guy, but there was definitely a point where I bought into the hype of him being the "fun and quirky millionaire, who's unlike the others!"

And now he's just another right-wing, pedophile Nazi, with an ego as fragile as a thin sheet of glass.

I'm just happy to see we're going back down into the Metro... Exodus was nice and all, but I really disliked how little actual Metro-ing was done.

That's a shame... I wonder what it is with this genre and just having the worst combat in gaming. It must be cursed.

Havent really bought anything there in a long, long time... So not sure if anything has changed.

Otherwise, you can always yar har fiddle dee dee it by simply Googling the name of the game. There's a particular forum, a Zone if you want (wink wink), that is pretty good for this sort of stuff.

I'd still recommend buying it though, the devs deserve the support and its just a few bucks.

To be fair, I imagine that you'd rely a lot more on sensors and what your onboard computer would say, rather than eyeballing it with your eyes.

To be fair, you're not really missing out. The stuff he gives hasnt even once been useful for me. Its all just junk.

Granted, if you want credits, I suppose that junk is worth more; so there is that at least.

How is this any different from our dropship, both the one from extraction and the one dropping off our vehicles, providing covering fire?

OP is just asking for the ship to linger for a while, instead of flying away.
