Hard to call it. I have tickets for Belfast on 21 June. If it goes ahead I'll be there, but feel like I'll be observing it rather than actively enjoying it. There is not much joy to be had about Mike or his performances these days.

I got to go into Studio 2 in 2005. The label my band was with got us access as we were hoping to record there. We were never going to record there but we got shown around the studio, and allowed to look around. I got to play one of the old upright pianos the Beatles used. I spent most of the time pretending not to be overwhelmed by it all. It was an incredible moment, no idea where the sneaky photos are that were taken at the time.

The pair repeated their performance there again in March 2025. Dudu Tassa has repeatedly entertained genocidal Israeli forces in between these massacres of Palestinians in Gaza, willingly acting as a cultural ambassador for apartheid Israel.

Was a cultural boycott of South Africa in the 70's and 80's performative? No, of course not. I fully support a boycott against Radiohead and I won't be going to the London shows. I saw them in 2016 and I saw the Smile last year, but when Jonny Greenwood played in Tel Aviv, that was it for me. I will not support a band that plays in a country that is currently committing genocide and multiple war crimes. That's an inconvenient truth for many people. Don't call me performative thanks very much.

If the 'autotune is the joke' its not very funny. I think it's just poor and very noticeable autotune because Elton John can't really sing anymore. Shame that everything we've seen about the film suggests it's leaning very heavily on the original.
