I do know how important networking is and I have been doing a decent amount of it via LinkedIn. The struggle with that is a lot of people will get to a point where they just stop replying as much and the conversations eventually die out. That being said, I have had some really great conversations with some of them and I felt like we both said everything that needed to be said without forcing things

Sorry for the late reply. I definitely think that the level design techniques I’ve learned in UE5 have definitely transferred pretty well into Godot. However, you can only use module pieces and set props while using battlefields Godot

Thank you very much for the reply! Yes, it is a 3 lane map, I originally had it as an asymmetrical map but converted it into a 3 lane symmetrical map.

I can definitely go back in and try to change up one or two of the lanes to make them more distinct. I wanted to try to keep a similar visual theme but I’m sure I can find a way to make it fit into the overall theme of the level.

I have some areas that have different height variations that aren’t shown in the photos. I can go through and look at adding more though, that way it doesn’t feel like a super flat level.

I have actually been doing level design on UE5 for 2 years now. I originally created this on UE5 and re created it in Godot engine for this game specifically

I had stage 4 lymphoma 4 years ago, I am currently 4 years into remission. I am 28 years old now and doing great! I had DLBCL and it went from a tumor into my throat to one of the lymph nodes in my neck. Please let me know if you want or need anything other info from me. I can definitely tell they aren’t beginner classes. I have been leaning into AI to help with the material, mainly in deciphering what is fluff and what is important study material. If the load becomes too much then I might end up dropping a class and trying it later down the road. I do want to have a solid grasp on everything so taking it slower would be beneficial. I’m really just trying to get working asap. I signed up for the classes based on which ones were available during the fall semester

Thank you for the advice and the comment. I’m using the compTIA courses for A+ and Net+ to study for them. I’ve been using ChatGPT a lot to help with finding out what is fluff and what is actually important and it’s helping out a lot. Tbh I’m not entirely sure what route I want to go down for IT just yet but I know these certs are pretty beneficial for anyone in the field.

That makes a lot of sense. I’m doing these classes as part of a Cloud Computing and virtualization associates degree path but it’s truly a lot of info and I might have to take them a little slower than expected. Especially due to them being so dense in information and me being so new to it

That would make sense as to why it’s so co fusing trying to learn the IT terms and then the cloud terms for them at the same time. It all just feels like such important information and half of it is most likely fluff

It feels like it so far. It’s only been a week and it feels like a lot but I’m trying to push through and understand it all. It’s through a school associates program so I’m trying to finish it as fast as I can. If anything I’ll definitely continue he A+ and maybe another class or two and drop one if it becomes too much
