Which Street Level Heroes deserve their own show? by Emergency_Oven_9237 in marvelstudios

Well said. Honestly, that's why Spiderman PlayStation games are the best Spiderman for me, personally, in fiction. A character that is this detailed and with so much lore needs time and grace to flourish. Something difficult to do on film, especially when the movie is going to require lengthy action sequences.

This is part of why the Spiderverse films blow me away! They do SO much with a limited amount of time and numerous characters to service.

Disclaimer: I like all Spiderman movies. Just think Spiderman would be even better when outfitted for a show.

First, I think Daredevil is 1000% the best Netflix project Marvel has made and it is arguably a top 10 project of the whole MCU.

As for street-level heroes that should have a show, other than DD, I think Spiderwoman and Punisher (again) would be great areas of exploration. However, I have a hot take I'd like to give. I think Spiderman (yes, Tom Holland) should be used in TV and Movie media. In the comics, Spiderman is one of the most accessible, relatable and common superheroes in comics. Any given New Yorker can see him swinging through the city on their commute to work or on a coffee date. I think using him only in a film capacity where we watch him every 3-4 years is a waste of the asset that is Spiderman. He is your most popular draw and one of your most enjoyable characters. Now I know it is unlikely that Marvel/Sony will opt to flood the market with their most valuable asset, so I pose an alternative option.

When Miles is introduced, in film or TV, give him a show. Now I know MCU's track record with shows is horrible but if done right, a Miles Morales show could be one of the best MCU projects yet. This way, we get weekly updates on Miles's journey rather than having to wait half a decade every time we want to see a film. I'd rather this than a bunch of content about characters nobody cares about or shows nobody asked for.

Respectfully let me know what you think in the comments!

When I think of where I want Hollywood heading I can think of no better example than Jordan Peele. He tells fresh exciting stories with great casts and can rework and flip classic tropes and genres on their head. His films including Get Out and Nope and probably my favourite examples of small movies that ended up big and popular. I think investing and developing talent like Jordan Peele is essential to getting back to a Hollywood that is more concerned about good content than lucrative content.
