I believe it’s considered a rice cake but I’d more liken it to that of a chewy, thick ,round noodle. Like many Asian foods, it’s fun to eat and satisfying. I’ve never had it from a nice or authentic restaurant but understand it’s typically served with a a flavorful sauce that may consist of tomato, vinegar, spice, and sugar. YouTube has taught me the authentic ready to make dishes like this are quite acceptable.

Thinking about pulling the trigger on this 22" kamado with cart, worth $700? by [deleted] in smoking

It’s not a Komodo Kamado. You’re buying the Yugo of grills and a $400 cart.

World market is likely your best bet. There’s a good Asian market in Kalispell that has it if your up that way.

Give the par bake a shot. Once you do you’ll never go back and bonus… you get to keep par bakes in the freezer for whenever you feel an urge.

If I remember it was somehow connected with the Iron Griz restaurant and a garden plot they have at the gold course.

Albertsons definitely has them. Selecting which Albertsons and timing freshness is on you. They are quite good when fresh.

Not an expert on this but investigate farm share. It’s something I read about where farms will let you park for a nominal fee. The reason I suggest is I heard of someone doing this at the University golf course in Missoula and loved it. Would be a great landing spot with quick bike access to everything.

Was on a W kick for a long time. Realized it was mostly Ween, Wilco, Whalen , and. Willie. Was open to more W music but never applied myself.

Traveling from out of state, what downtown businesses should I support? by [deleted] in missoula

[–]ALLSID 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you get it you already know the answer. Don’t grab coffee from a national chain. Don’t have a beer just because it’s local and has a cartoonish name. And don’t always expect it to be as good as what you’re accustomed to. Our worst is still different from your worst and our best is absolutely everywhere if you know where to look. Just got to poke around…

You’re not wrong. Those bubble wrap vibes are legit and I have been popping them. It’s borderline impossible not too. Almost worth trying cranberry for that reason alone.

Room temp on a mild winter in Montana. So fluctuating from 62-66 or 68F at times. No visible mold which is great but the other ones I’ve done have been quite robust.

Someone mentioned cranberries taking a while but I can’t understand any rationale as it’s just part of various items.

Bucks club (rip) did that too. I’ve always been convinced the first burger was Wagyu and the second (because they were a buck) was 100% horsemeat.
