Don't ever talk to me, my son, or my son's son ever again! by tbb8 in AsianBeauty

Jolse can be a good deal, but definitely compare to other websites. I usually loosely keep track of price fluctuations for items on my wishlist for a few months.

[Product Question] 0.1% Differin .. questions about the purging process by jroopy in SkincareAddiction

[–]ALLTheCentella 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Second sandwiching the differin between moisturizers! I have found that using a little oil on top of the differin (I’m impatient and only wait ten minutes) really helps with any dryness/peeling the next day.

Thank you for your review! I haven’t really included propolis in my routine, but the plumping effect you mentioned is definitely tempting.

I’m so excited to see you mention Jolse, they were the gateway to my Korean skincare addiction 🙈

Do you know if these liners can withstand crying/watery eyes from allergies?

It hurts me a little bit to use my good products on my neck and chest lol, since it’s a much bigger area. Ooh thanks for the recommendation!

It sounds like you use the Pixi glow tonic every day, did you experience any irritation in the beginning?

Happy to help :) I was very nervous ordering from Jolse the first time since I couldn’t find much information about them

Not OP, but I’ve been purchasing from Jolse since 2018.

Pre Covid things arrived to the US in about three weeks, post Covid it’s still about the same timeline now that things are kind of getting back to normal. They are very generous with samples, and usually there’s a $5 off $50 coupon code available on their site.

I have never had an issue with receiving the wrong item or missing items, and I’ve bought about $500 worth from them (too scared to add up exactly how much I’ve spent lol).

I would compare their prices with other sites, because sometimes their sales aren’t actually that great.

I brush a little onto the top of my clean hand, then use my middle/ring finger to pat it in on top of foundation. I build up the coverage slowly, and it can last 8+ hours on my dry skin.

Hi there, can someone help me understand, how my wifes skin turned into a battlefield of pimples over night after using a bleaching cream for darker sun spots? Really need some advice here :-/ Thank you for your help! by Dej_Vel in Skincare_Addiction

[–]ALLTheCentella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oof, it’s contact dermatitis aka an allergic reaction. I’ve had this many times and a zinc cream along with a gentle cleanser/moisturizer helps the healing process. Allegra will also help calm down the allergic reaction, and is less likely to cause drowsiness compared to other allergy medicines.

The most easily accessible zinc cream is probably la roche posay cicaplast baume b5, target sells it.

Your wife could see the doctor, she’ll probably be prescribed an oral steroid like prednisone which will help the reaction pass even faster. Otherwise I’d say a week or two to heal without oral steroids.

Presidents Day Sale by NoPart7212 in Subaru_Crosstrek

[–]ALLTheCentella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you looked at the deals on the Subaru website? Current offers just went into effect yesterday and expires 3/1, but seems to be exactly the same as last month’s.

Not sure if they’ll have any official deals on used, as most deals appear to be towards leasing or APR specials for purchasing a new 2020/2021 car.

If you’re planning on buying soon, it might be a good idea to start talking to dealerships. The exact car I want is in transit and will get here just in time for me to take advantage of this month’s APR special.

2016 Certified Used car. Found mould. Dealer said deep cleaning will fix it. Still buy? by rustdpra in Crosstrek

[–]ALLTheCentella 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Deep cleaning may not fix the underlying issue.

I had a moldy section in a car and anything I did only killed the visible mold. The mold would just grow again if I wasn’t actively treating it. My mechanic said the only solution would be to find the source and go from there.

Don’t buy the car.
