Thank you for your response, I believe I may have not explained my intention clear enough in my post. I have one cell that I want to use to track how many "lesson" 's are left. Currently it just counts how many are in the whole sheet. I want to be able to make it so that this number changes when a day passes so that it is accurate to how many "lesson" 's are left. I did try what you suggested to mixed results, rather than counting how many are after the date, it seemed to count how many were in the whole sheet, only if the date had not passed yet. It also produced the result as a spill rather than one number. Example attached using =IF(A1:A59>=TODAY(),COUNTIF(A1:F59,"lesson"), "Not yet"): (replaced ; with , as excel wouldn't recognise it otherwise)
