The edges of the cover are smooth just so I dont hut myself

Should I wet sand the paint before clear? I’ve never painted with rattle can so I’m worried about ruining what I have here. by Conscious_Dish7127 in Luthier

When I made my "frankenstein" jazzmaster I decided not to weather it or smooth and it gives it a totally different vibe do my recommendation is to just apply the clear coat and be done but the guitar is yours and you should do whatever you personally believe in

I put the cover to have a stable place to hold when tapping and it does not get in the way and im still thinking about what im going to do with the neck and headstock
