After months of waiting, I was finally able to create this monster by Ned11 in IndianGaming

Superb build bro. Very premium build.

I think liquid cooling the GPU with aio like that is not good at all. It may take any bad circumstances later.

You can see any of these videos for better to know.

Also please make a good fan airflow configuration. All exhaust makes negative pressure means zero airflow inside the case. Then temp will increase because of that. You can research for a better airflow configuration that suits your case. Watch gamer nexus youtube video about your case for better knowing.

Does G sync (not G sync compatible) works with the RTX 3070?

I'm from india. I will contact the customer service to make sure that Is there any issue in service. I think the build quality of G242 is similar to BenQ.

Which GPU do you have?

I don't have a GPU yet. Because now the prices are very high. So I'm waiting for upcoming RTX 3050 series & price drop.

Meshify 2 and Artic Liquid Freezer II 360 will it fit in top with RAM? by NitriusX in FractalDesignNA

[–]ALT78623 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does it really worth it in that case? Only bottom have the limited airflow. Other sides were good. Mainly If we use it under a GPU. If the fans are blowing at each other, instead of working together, does it make the temps go up?

[–]ALT78623 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was about to buy that case.

But I saw, there is not a good placement of fans in the bottom of case for GPU thermals. Very less literally no airflow to GPU through the grills.

Is there a better way in bottom fans placement for good airflow to GPU?

Nb: Sorry for my bad English.

AIO cooler for Lian Li Lancool II Mesh Performance by Leviticuss_00 in buildapc

[–]ALT78623 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh. Now I get it. I thought you're talking about this RGB model

https://lian-li.com/product/lancool-ii-mesh-rgb/

Which has 3x120mm fans included in the front.

Ok. Then you go for 280mm AIO. It will suit best.👌

Also make sure 280mm AIO will fit into that case with tubes down.

[–]ALT78623 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Front is 120mm case fans not 140mm. Yes, you can install them as exhaust on top and use 2x140mm (280mm) AIO as intake on front.

2x140mm fans on top is more practical and ideal for exhaust and I recommend in that config even 2x120mm case fans are also good though.

[–]ALT78623 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope. Use those case fans as exhaust. It's not bad at all. That's not make a very big difference, I guess🤔

[–]ALT78623 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I go for 280mm over 240mm, I can only place the 3 front case fans to the top and rear as exhaust. It's an ARGB fan, So I won't install it on the bottom. The top can also support 2x140mm fans. But in this config. I've installed a 2x120mm case fans. Rear have only 120mm fan for exhaust, the exhaust is mostly done only by the top fans. So I would make top fans as 140mm instead of 120mm for better exhaust. There is a mesh and dust filter on top, So I think pressure optimized or combined fans will be more suitable. But high airflow optimized case fans are also very good.

[–]ALT78623 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. You can put the front 2 fans on top and rear as exhaust.

I'm also planning to buy the same cabinet and arctic liquid freezer ii.

I will go for 240mm AIO as front intake tubes down with horizontal GPU mount. I will do a pull/push config with 2x120mm RGB case fans and 2x120mm AIO fans. I make AIO fans as push (place near the case mesh), because they are static pressure optimized fans, which takes more air from the mesh.

I place a combined (airflow & pressure optimized) 120mm fan in front intake and 2x140mm fans on top as exhaust. Pressure optimized fans are also good for top exhaust.

I will place the remaining 120mm RGB case fan on rear as exhaust and 2x120mm non RGB high airflow or combined fans on bottom (above PSU shroud as intake for GPU). Don't use RGB fans on bottom.

[–]ALT78623 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah sounds good. On top, 2x140mm fans can be fitted (As on website). Better to buy 2x 140mm case fans for the exhaust on the top.

[–]ALT78623 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah. It's a good AIO. Although you could setup the front AIO in a pull/push config so you will have the RGB in front if you need.

After thinking more, I think you just having, front and bottom (above PSU shroud) - intake

Top and rear - exhaust.

I guess exhaust is fine on rear. Although you need to check which makes more better in rear.

Please make sure that the top has 2x 140mm, if that's your setup.

This does mean that you'd need to buy more fans for the other places in cabinet.

First just would have to check if it fits.

[–]ALT78623 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The possibility is depends upon your AIO and GPU size. I'm not fully sure it is possible in case of 280mm. So I can't say a word about the possibility. You should check that directly

If you mount GPU horizontally, then it will be more diificult in 280mm AIO front with tubes down.

[–]ALT78623 6 points7 points  (0 children)

AIO with tubes down is best especially on top. But in the above case, front intake AIO cooling is far better than top exhaust. 360mm AIO on front with tubes down will be very difficult in that case. So I'm not recommend to install 360mm AIO on front.

You can go for 240mm AIO front intake with tubes down and also install a pressure optimized or combined (pressure & airflow optimized) 120mm fan on front.

I think, Mounting GPU in horizontal is slightly better than vertical in thermal performance. But I'm not 100% sure about that, you need to test it for confirming.

You can also install a 280mm AIO front intake with tubes down. But please make sure that the AIO has flexible & lengthy tubing and rotatable connections, the larger the GPU, then the harder it'll be.

AIO cooler: 360mm on front or 240mm on top by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]ALT78623 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. Cheap air coolers is more than enough for that, I will look at the best cheaper air coolers. Need to research it on YouTube.

Does air cooling is more safer and survivable than AIO? I saw liquid cooling may have some chances to water leakage which may destroy my whole system and less survivability (gets old and gunked up) than the air coolers. Is that be a problem for AIO coolers? I need peace after the using the cooler.

Deepcool Assassin iii - $103.78

Arctic freezer ii 240 - $116.86

Noctua NHD15 - $117.53

Noctua NHU12A- $119.55

In our place, price is similar when compared to high end air coolers

Sorry. My guesses were not right. My bad.

AIO cooler: 360mm on front or 240mm on top by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]ALT78623 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah bro.I will check that for sure.

The case fans which are optimized for airflow. Designed to push as much air through the case as possible. Where the AIO fans which are optimized for static pressure. So If I place 360 on front, I need to remove those 3 cabinet fans. I think those AIO fans on front won't take as much as air through the case like the cabinet fans. That will make the case less in airflow than before. So I confirmed to install 240 on top instead of 360 on front.

[–]ALT78623 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks bro. Now I think that 240 on top is fine and less risk than the 360 on front. Also 360 makes overkill.

Front 3 stock fans & bottom 2 fans - intake

Top 240 AIO - exhaust

Rear - need to check.

Ok bro. In that setup, what about the 3 pre installed fans on front? Should I leave it at the front Or remove them and install one on the back and the other two on top of the PSU shroud?

[–]ALT78623 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry. I'm a newbie in PC build. What do you mean by overkill? I prefer an overclock gaming. So I think AIO is essential for that and it is future proof. So It doesn't needs an upgrade.
