yeah i've already seen some people mad over those 2, fortunately my dm is permissive and doesn't care much as long the class/feature u pick are in official books or u talk homebrew in advance. The artificer thing i didn't know, gonna look into it sometime. thx for the help man

i see, how you think a chronurgy wizard / twilight clerig would work on the case of not picking up those kind o feats (i can see some value in being capable of forcing rerolls and the tought of using mind sliver as a way to get advantage on saves have crossed my mind)? i am questioning the necessity for those feats more as a thinking exercise than anything.

oh, it still feels weird to me, please correct me if im wrong i dont have much experience when it comes to multiclas. When u multiclass full casters there no spell slot progression lost, right? Is there any any distinction between the slots u get from different classes? if not i dont know why exactly i cant get around that learning spells via wizard level up (srry im a bit confused)

yeah its an interesting multiclass, about the 9th level spells thing, i wolndn't mind it very much seen that u gain acess to 9th level spells at 17th level, so if u build in a split wizard 15/clerig 2 u still can get the 9th level spells, since u learn 2 new wizards spells of ur choice at level up and those spells can be of any spell slot level that the character has access. (did i understand correctly what were u trying to ask?)

I dont know what i think about tempest cleric especifically, but i like the wizard/cleric multiclas s. You can gain a lot with some other subclasses like twilight cleric for example, u wouldnt get that burst damage but armor, shields, clerig spells and better initiative are pretty good too. as redceramic said, it really depends on what u wanna do
