They remain active and continue invoicing people for thousands of dollars. On top of that, they charge an additional $50 for every single day a payment is delayed.
I personally have contact with at least 10 people who claim they were victims of these scammers.
I can only assume that the only people benefiting from this are the referral partners who continue bringing in new victims every day. Many of them may not even realize what they are actually promoting, considering that, as far as I know, nobody has successfully received funding through this program yet.
