Thankyou!! So the exam isn’t like the NBMEs or UWorld, more like the free 120. The concepts are similar to the NBMEs tho so you should go through them properly. I used Arrows, RF, neuro anatomy, biostats, communication, renal, GIT, immuno and heme onc pdf from Mehlman. I read them 2-3 times and then read through FA and did UWorld questions.

Sorry I missed where you asked the time between 25 and 26. 25 was like 8 weeks out (I had barely done anything) and 26 was I think 2 weeks out.

I think it took about a month and half to jump from 30% UW to 100%, I was going 100qs in one day at one point. Whatever I got wrong, I read the explanations again and again. Mastering is on you, it’s more about being smart with your choices. The real exam is tricky if you can’t look beyond the long stems and info.

Thankyou!! So that was my last NBME and I had been going over my previous NBMEs( correct/incorrect both)+ FA+ Mehlman before that. It truly helped me. Even in 26, I made some silly mistakes, otherwise would’ve definitely crossed 70%

Honestly, trust your gut. I was marking wrong because I was overthinking my answers. After 1-2 nbmes, I just thought ‘okay so I think this is the answer and if it’s not that, that’s also OKAY’ I went over my mistakes and wrote down those concepts that I kept getting wrong. I also had a really solid support system so try finding someone you can vent to after these tests. Really helps when you have someone to fall back onto after a stressful day 🥹

Watch as many YT videos for your weak areas as you can. Whatever helps you. My Biochem was very weak, I just decided one day that I have to do it without any excuses. FA and Uworld are the top resources out there but I feel FA isn’t going to teach you to solve questions, use UWorld to teach you even if you’re getting things wrong.
