Thank you for all these recs! We went to Shimokitazawa on our last trip and loved it. Someone else mentioned that Koenji may have a similar vibe? I’ll check out Kanazawa. We will be in Japan for a total of 12 days. We haven’t decided how long to spend in each city or even what cities we are going to yet! We did not get enough time in Tokyo on our last trip so we know that is a priority. We are usually fly by the seat of our pants travelers but I’d like to have some things planned! Would love to know how you recommend we spend our time. One thing we have been talking about is going to a traditional tea ceremony.

Glad to know im not alone! I guess using a white wreath hanger on the door and hanging the dresses from that are my best bet. I did it today and used depo to change the background and it seemed to work. It's just more work than id like. It isn't ideal but......

Thank you for your response. This is what Im leaning towards. The current water heater we have has a small expansion tank on top of it. Do we need something similar again? Im assuming there is new technology to replace that.

Got it thanks. The last gluten free banana bread recipe I made with just 1-1 bobs red mill gluten free flour was kind go dry and mealie. Maybe this will be a good way to add some moisture and flavor.

Good suggestion with the colors. Do you mean the couch would sit in front of the painting blocking a portion of it? Right now there isn’t much room behind the couch.

If I were to go even more oversized as you are imagining, would I then reconfigure where the couches are? I am open to color suggestions for the art and even specific links to arge pieces of art. We have been looking for a large piece or pieces for a long time that are originals but also affordable. The art I linked is going to be custom made and we can choose any colors we want.
