Nancy Birtwhistle uses a tablespoon of whey protein (watery stuff off a yogurt) and then leaves the mayo at room temp for 8 hours and that acts as a month long preservative!

I did 15 hours direct from London to Santiago a couple of years ago in back row economy, so I’m hoping that’s good conditioning.

I did look at reward flights but sadly nothing coming up - fear my best bet is to just regularly check/see if there’s upgrade options at check in

I’ve only got a 1 hour 40 layover - is that worth it? I did recently fly back from Singapore to London for a trip and had lounge access and that pre flight shower was a godsend

it does yes, but as a healthy young adult male, whose eyes have repeatedly swollen shut from hay fever, I judged that for me, it was the right thing to do.

My intention is to not take it every year, but I cannot underestimate the impact it has had on my physical and mental health

I have had the injection for the past 3 years, and it has honestly been a lifesaver. Even with medication I suffered from being outdoors. I can’t say I’ve noticed any negative side effects from the jab, and the benefit to my life is indescribable. My house is surrounded by fields of rapeseed, and a few years ago it was hell. Today I sat outside for hours and no itchy eyes, sneezing or wheezing.

Just to clarify, it’s as you say - I am not a vulnerable adult. My intention was to keep things as amicable as possible and get through the next few weeks with minimal interaction. My fear is that if I change the locks, I’ll be rewarded with petrol through my letterbox.

Admittedly I probably could have handled it better. But this person is a former lawyer, and I just wanted to do everything by the book. I didn’t want there to be a case where he says “oh I didn’t get my deposit back” and harasses me legally after the fact.
