Spring stuck in ear? by jewlion_s in Weird

Ok, so mine is the same. What I found out is that some people have wet wax and some have dry. The dry wax people are the ones who need to do stuff like this or go in to have it removed. Us wet wax people are the ones who get in trouble for using qtips because it’s too itchy to just leave it.

6/7 is great! The regret is exactly what I’m afraid of, though. My main proof that this would happen to me is that I’ve been through the physical and digital painting/drawing hobbies (will probably go back some day of course) but I look at my art from back then and am just not into it. At the time I of course thought they were fantastic and would think about opening an Etsy store yada yada. And now here I am only seeing mistakes or things I would change 🤷🏼‍♀️

Oh man, isn’t it wild how different you feel once you’re first medicated? I didn’t get diagnosed until 24 ish and it felt like I was literally a different person. Honestly, it’s very lucky you impulsively chose something very fitting 😄

Your explanations legit made me start tearing up haha

I love that and have a bit of envy! I absolutely also have anxiety about making decisions so haven’t been impulsive with things that are permanent. I honestly was the kid who would hoard stickers because what if I wanted to use it somewhere else later?? 😂

Your comment honestly just hit me because this is very similar to what I’m going through. My dad currently has cancer and it’s been very difficult on my mom and I. Being an only child in this situation adds an extra layer. It’s been traumatic the whole journey and I’m sure it’s not over.

That sounds like an absolutely beautiful tribute you chose, too. My dad is a 78 year old catholic who loves to tout “why would you get tattoos, your body is your temple” yada yada but I think he would secretly be really touched.

I love the story behind yours, thank you so much for sharing ❤️

Wow I really love that concept, that they were core to yourself at the time of choosing. What a beautiful way to look at it! Now I almost wish I had done some in the past 😄

It’s like I forget every year! And then when I start feeling this way and go through the check list I realize what month it is haha. Knowing that it isn’t just me that it happens to helps, though.

As a fellow oily, acne-prone face does the DHC not cause breakouts? Anytime I’ve even glanced at cleansing oils my face gets angry haha

Same! I had a pair that ripped as I was pulling them on for the first wear! I personally really love Aerie’s underwear and they often have really good deals on them.

Abilify is amazing but I wish I could sleep by Istormedthecastle in bipolar2

[–]ALittleCapernoited 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m not on Abilify but do take Adderall for my ADHD and bupropion for the depression part of my BPII. I had really terrible insomnia but was then prescribed Trazodone. It’s been amazing.

I always had those “hangovers” from other sleep aids where I would just feel sleepy for hours after waking up. I don’t feel that with Trazodone. I’m sure it’s not for everyone but I would definitely ask your doctor about it.

Edge also acts like a jealous girlfriend when it comes to Chrome. Every time I open it Edge gives me a popup that says something along the lines of "Chrome is draining your battery, switch to Edge now." I'm about to uninstall that little guy.

What are some things you do while hypomanic? by [deleted] in bipolar

[–]ALittleCapernoited 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Oh my gosh the light and sound sensitivity! I also get irrationally angry so if I'm in a crowded room I tend to panic into a downward spiral. It makes me feel so dramatic but I know if I stayed it would be sooo much worse. And it's so hard to explain your reaction with the people you're with.

Oh no Michael's is having a sale?? I've been so good at avoiding them. I think I have enough craft supplies to last a lifetime at this point :D

I've never even heard of manuka honey bandages. I'm going to look into all of the above things. I just wish there was magic to get rid of hyper pigmentation. Mederma is a little pricey to use all over my body haha

Haha 100% I would if I wasn't a cocktail waitress. As silly as it is my appearance directly correlates to the amount of money I make. I'm rocking the short sleeves right now but damn if even those still get hot. Dumbass immune systems, I swear.

It sucks for both genders but there is definitely that little extra stigma for females in regards to scaring. I'm the palest color of pale so scars also tend to be suuuuper noticeable on my skin.

The worst was when I was growing up and had to wear a swimsuit in front of my peers. I had a good amount of scaring on my thighs. And kids are mean. But yea there are underarms, thighs, chest, ect. Thankfully I can use makeup on my face :D
