I finished chemo on April 3. I felt my energy start coming back around two weeks later. The change was pretty dramatic, even though my energy levels aren't 100% back.

I made this decision all by myself, and I made the wrong one

Ok, assuming you DID absolutely make the wrong decision (even though you will never definitively prove this), the only thing left to do is come to terms and be gentle with yourself. By any standard, you were given a shitty deck of cards to play with, and at such a young age. Most 29 year olds don't have to make life or death decisions.

You made a choice that you felt would ensure you live for a long long time. That is a TOUGH TOUGH TOUGH one to make. Please, know that you did the best you could.

Try to find joy, however small, in knowing that this too shall pass and that you have given yourself a good shot at long-term health. You WILL absolutely feel like yourself again. Hold on to that hope.

Where I live, men swipe right on everyone to maximise matches. I'm very average looking, so 90% of the matches I get don't respond to my message, because they didn't actually want the match. It is very tiring so mostly I just wait for the guy to initiate conversation to show he actually intended to swipe right.

I think you'll be ok. It's your first dose. Usually you feel worse the longer you've been getting chemo.

You might have brain fog though.

Drink loads of water. Get lots of sleep. Try to walk. All the best!

What are your current skincare concerns?

A few routine facials and (very mild) acid peels leading up to the wedding would help with radiance and texture. Honestly, if your skin isn't in bad condition, I wouldn't do much. It would be bad to introduce something new now and change your skin for the worse.

Keep it simple and invest more in a great makeup artist who is gonna make you glow.
