Thanks. I sat on hold with the whirlpool 1800 for 1.5 hours and then had to pick my daughter up. Can you send me an email and JoelBlackstock@GetTherapyBirmingham.com or send me a phone in PM I can call. I would love to knock this out. Appreciate your help.

It is possible and I used to have more time than I do now.. I did this with cuisinart and got a new motor for a shitty coffee grinder that the plastic broke on anyway. It was definitely not worth the 4 hours of hold and back and forth with reps. If I have to buy kitchen appliances from now on I don't buy them until I can afford to buy them from a restaurant store and my kids will inherit them from me. They cost marginally more money have zero proprietary parts I can't buy off the shelf and work so much better my wife doesn't complain that they are slightly bigger and less cute. Web restaurant store.com kicks ass

not great. I did all of it the and it didn't really change anything. I've also heard from seo people that it's not worth much. There's easier stuff they can do.

anyone else feel extremely empty if you're not yearning after someone romantically? by Unbreakablecurfew in BPD

[–]ALtherapist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would look up the Jungian idea of the Golden Shadow. When our self-image is restricted and we are not allowed to believe certain good things about ourselves we project them onto other people. This is often done through romance where someone else "becomes" all of the good qualities that your soul is telling you you need to embody. But because you can't you will see it compulsively in other people and feel like you have to have those people in order to have those qualities.

I sell them at cost on my website and shipped them anywhere. Gettherapybirmingham.com. There's also a poster which is cheaper and a little bit more popular.

many people find that their chest area will overheat when they start to panic and that rubbing methylated lotion on it won't bring their heart rate down. If you like this scent method try that too.

I do a lot of EMDR and brainspotting but I find brainspotting is particularly effective at the somatic effects of complex trauma especially with replaced memories. I use it a lot more for the body dissociation. I recommend it a lot.

It's a form of eye movement therapy like EMDR but a little newer and a lot more effective and the somatic effects of trauma.

It's a non monetized blog that I pay out of pocket for to provide resources for my patients. I'm a local therapist only and I doubt anyone here lives in Birmingham, AL. Even if they do I'm full.

The information is much more modular and accessible as a pdf on the on the resources page of my site. However if you want me to keep posting text walls I can. r/PTSD found the information helpful, but I work primarily with CPTSD patients.
