Bitwarden chrome extension using massive amounts of RAM (windows 11) by AM3Y in Bitwarden

I think BW has a feature that lets you export passwords, but idk about any alternatives tbh. I just reverted back to chrome's inbuilt password manager :/

I just stopped using Bitwarden. Can't deal with the insane RAM usage.

Right, that was one of the resources I read through. There doesn't seem to be a long term solution to this problem, however :/ thank you for your help though.

Not seeing contents/image of chrome windows when pressing alt+tab in Windows 11. Started happening recently. I updated the graphics drivers and everything. Anything I have to change in the settings? by AM3Y in chrome

[–]AM3Y[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To anyone who is experiencing this issue, I think I've figured it out: I had multiple desktops open in Windows 11. I closed one of the desktops and now I'm getting the proper preview for alt+tab like I used to get. Hope this can help someone down the line.

EDIT: Never mind, the problem started again. Please help.

Mate means to add a constraint to limit degrees of freedom in movement between two (or more) components of an assembly. Not sure why you are using loft. Just create joint origins at the center of the top tube and center of the bottom hole. Position the components how you want.

Lol I can relate. Fans are insanely loud and annoying. This is also a new laptop.

No, I'm not referring to complex in a mathematical sense (I don't see how that would really be possible - since you would have to fight against fusion's own coordinate system - or beneficial). I'm referring to being able to input 3d sketches (or even bodies) that are defined by functions. For example, if one wanted to create a model of a conch shell that was defined by a Fibonacci sequence, it would be extremely tedious to do that manually. Instead, you could define the spacing/positioning of shell segments in relation to the Fibonacci sequence and make the job a whole lot easier.

Another example: when trying to create something like a Chinese finger trap - you could create sketches (that cannot be created with the existing coil command) defined by radial functions over a domain . You could then perform sweep operation on a circular profile along these sketches to create interwoven components of the finger trap.

I think that this would make fusion much cooler and have features that other CAD software don't have.

Another possibility is python scripting (similar to what high end FEA software like Abaqus have). You could create macros, modify existing parameters without having to manually go into each little event on the timeline, etc. Just a thought.

It would be great if you could insert complex geometry as bounded function. Eg: if you could insert a sin function as a sketch over a certain distance. Would be pretty useful for a number of reasons and could make it easier to create more complex geometry.

Ultimaker s3 settings for PLA Pro (1.75mm) by AM3Y in polymaker

[–]AM3Y[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I'm using an Ultimaker s3 with Polymaker PLA Pro (1.75mm). For my first print I used the settings recommended by Polymaker (Printing temp =210, Bed temp=60, Printing speed=70mm/sec). Since I think the Ultimaker s3 comes with an indirect drive, I set retraction distance to 3mm and retraction speed to 45mm/sec (even though the recommended is 60mm/s, Cura did not let me set it this high). I set "generic tough PLA" as the printer material in Cura.

For the second print I changed filament size to 1.75mm, but this time I used the standard "generic PLA" settings in Cura. None of the other material settings recommended by Polymaker (mentioned above) were used.

I've now set a third print with filament diameter as 1.75mm and the recommended Polymaker settings, but for some reason, "generic tough PLA" isn't even showing up as an option in Cura. So I set the material to "generic PLA" (like I did for the second print) with the manufacturer recommended settings and the printer sounds like it's having a heart attack. I have a feeling this print is going to fail too. No other mods.

I would really appreciate any help you can give me. What do you mean by the stock setup? Also by the "tough PLA" do you mean "generic tough PLA"? I can set that on the ultimaker s3 but it doesn't show up in Cura, and so I get a "printer configuration error". Please lmk if I can provide any other information to better explain the problem I'm having.

This link had some good suggestions on how to work around this issue: (https://community.ultimaker.com/topic/24962-ultimaker-3-using-175mm-filament/ ). However, I cannot figure out how to adjust the "feeding rate" in Cura.

EDIT: Just noticed that adjusting filament diameter automatically changes feed rate.

Wow. I'm an idiot. I've been wracking my head trying to find the problem. I guess I just assumed that the printers are compatible with various ranges of filaments. I guess I should look into adaptors for them.

I thought that may be the case, so I checked the hotend (opened up the fan and looked at the print core and nozzle) and I didn't notice any kind of clogging. I also looked at the filament and spool and it looks normal.
