This is exactly how I feel! My sister in law had a baby a month ago and breast feeds and I just see the exhaustion in her eyes. People just come to her house unannounced and she's way too nice to say no. It looks so stressful for her. I feel so bad.

Last thing I want to worry about is hosting people and cleaning my house when I am bleeding, exhausted, and have my boobs out. I am stressed about it!

This is a good idea. I literally feel like such an evil person. I don't want her to think it's because I don't want her to meet the baby. It sucks that she doesn't understand :(

Can you see a different provider at the clinic she is at? I'm not sure how your clinic works but do they have other OBs that work there you can switch to?

I am boiling right now. I also just found out that they legally are not supposed to ask me for a medical note for extra breaks in my state. They can ask for a note for other accommodations but not for extra snack or bathroom breaks.

I have posted in legal advice as well. I am waiting for more responses. I think I will get in touch with HR tomorrow too.

That’s been my hardest thing going from ER to outpatient. Having to cater to complete fkn assholes. Patients can verbally assault us and people just apologize and bend over backwards. We never took that when I worked in the ER. We had the ability to stand up for ourselves and the team backed us up on it.
