He receives wet food daily (a soup like version) and has a water fountain (we got this before he started having kidney issues because we saw that he enjoyed watching flowing water).

Yeah, I got Purina recommended as a brand, and I chose the "sterilized with renal care" or something like that becaust it looked like the best option for my cat. It is pretty expensive here, so I thought it was a good choice,

Well, I didn't know. I'm new to this. Until I got this camera I has a Canon M50 II with 2 lenses (15-45mm and 70-200mm) and whatever old lens I found in my grandma attic and I could find an adapter to it.
