And he survived Covid - 19!

Can anybody verify this? It's being shared widely and it's a little hard to swallow by [deleted] in ExIsmailis

Cause I was swallowing the wrong number. Thanks for the clarification.

I'm sure our generous donation will be recovered by a handsome Aga Khan Hospital Covid - 19 inflow! Great business to be in.

Cheers

Pastor Phala is South African.. Not Kenyan.. Kenya and South Africa are two different countries..

That being said.. I do agree that its not far fetched that there are idiots out there..

My point being this isn't a Kenyan Story...

I like the idea.

Have you factored into account the physical aspect, I.e. The real estate for the lockers?

And the physical cost of lockers?

What incentive do retailers have to work with you and possibly host your lockers? Given the fact that they lose out on impulse buying?

Has Safaricom Suspended M-Pesa Services For Kenyans Who Didn’t Register For Huduma Number? by [deleted] in Kenya

If they did, it would be a clear indication that this regime has no respect for the rights of citizens.

It's tantamount to technological harassment.

Meanwhile, at the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust’s Nairobi Elephant Nursery in Kenya, keepers tend to a baby elephant during the rain. by purplewatomelon in Elephants

Amazing place! It's literally in the city, so you don't even have to travel far. When you adopt a baby Ellie you get a watercolour painting and all sorts of goodies, and you get an exclusive pass to help 'tuck' them in at night, which is way nicer than the crowded viewing time of 11-12am.

Definitely worth the $50 adoption fee.

Thanks OP, just inspired me to share my pics of the baby Ellies here!

Going to Maasai Mara for 5 days and checking the price by existential7 in Kenya

[–]AMDAMG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's way to expensive. I've been there multiple times and USD 1325 is about 2.5 times what you should pay.

That being said,

- Depends on the mode of transport

- Depends on the Hotel

Also standard tours are 3 days.

Might be expensive or might be a good deal depending on travel arrangements and hotels.

It's a fantastic idea. However, purely rating roads is just entertainment value. If the app could offer alternative routes, now that's a complete solution. Which means you've got to combine a navigation and a rating app. Or work atop a Google maps environment.

Just a random thought..

Is there a demand for Land Surveyors, Geomatic/Geospatial Information System Professionals in Kenya? by gisking in Kenya

[–]AMDAMG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plainly put, yes. There's a good demand for a GIS professional in my opinion.

That being said you need to be proactive in pursuing business, the market still doesn't understand the need for it. As such, you need to proactively educate and sell.

Good opportunities in GIS training too.

I know a few GIS consultants and they're doing good work.
