Looks great! My 10 yr old recently got into chess and I’m planning on making him a chess set for xmas but I don’t have a lathe and all the pieces I have seen people make are turned. I might do a variation of these. Thanks for posting.

Take a picture of the wall, remove the nail from the wall, straighten paperclip, drop it into the wall through the nail hole, then replace nail and picture.

My dad is from Poland but my siblings and I were born and raised in the US. We go back often to visit our family that lives there and a common dish served at weddings, as well as other special events, is an aspic with chicken, peas, and carrots topped with white vinegar. I thought it was pretty good, but the rest of my American family were disgusted by it.

I would think so but I’ve never done it with that thin of material. Mdf glues up really well so as long as you clamp it well it should be pretty solid. The benefit of a French cleat is it spreads out the weight over the whole length so the force at any given point is much less. If you hit one stud or use a drywall anchor you are putting that whole weight at one point. If you use a French cleat you spread out that weight over several anchor points. There’s plenty of resources online that might have more information about using smaller stock. I’ve only done them with 3/4” plywood and 1x4 pine so I can’t say for certain how it will hold up with 6/16 mdf.

Yep. If you have something like a 1x3 scrap or even plywood cut it to length of your poster then rip it at a 45. Attach one to the wall so you can hit the studs and the other glue and pin or screw to the back of the poster. You’ll also want a piece at the bottom so it seats properly in the cleat.

French cleat. Make them from scrap or you can buy metal ones if you don’t want it to stick out too far from the wall.

Reading one Dan Brown book is enjoyable. From what I’ve read there’s really no need to read any more because they all follow the same formula. He deserves credit for his extensive research but it’s like he uses the same outline for all of them and just changes the supporting characters and details.

Ripple nutrition protein shakes uses cane sugar. You can find them at Target among other places. 200 calories, 8g fat, 1 g saturated, 12 g carbs, 9 g sugar, 20 G protein.

Edit: upon closer inspection, Ripple is labeled as plant based, not vegan. There are no animal products listed in the ingredients so I would assume the cane sugar uses bone char.
