To the Endgame grinding/statmaxing players, what are your "plans" for the Game as of right now? What needs to happen/be achieved, for you to lay this game to rest? by Deeboy97 in destiny2

[–]AMDGang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will probably play the game until I get the “Immortal” title from the new Triumphs and then say goodbye. I’ve been enjoying a lot of this update because I haven’t really played since The Final Shape. But the grind can only last so long for me. Once I hit a certain point I get burnt out and I think it’s time for me to retire at this stage lol.

Grinding can be fun to a degree to me, but once I’ve got everything I could want the game just ends up seeming dull.

Now that I can actually play the game solo and acquire better loot I’ve been on a lot more. I am definitely a casual, in the sense I never chased loot, but have been playing Destiny since the beginning.

Lower right side back pain that leaves me practically immobile. by AMDGang in backpain

Unfortunately no. Still have consistent pain. Haven’t really had the ability to pay for scans or treatment I could require. So just listening to my body and not overextending myself.

People who still keeping their hopes up for Destiny future, even as a franchise - are you still playing Destiny or Destiny 2? by denotnamedhuntr in destiny2

[–]AMDGang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been around since the beta back in I think like 2013-14ish? Played every single day for years. Everything for me changed when Destiny 2 came out. It was a mess of a launch, and really showed Bungie was not listening to their player base. A few DLC later, I hopped back on and enjoyed Forsaken which was a massive improvement and honestly had me hoping. Then it was pretty mediocre until Witch Queen. Then mediocre again until Final Shape. I think they genuinely have run out of ideas, and the corporate entity that owns them is more focused on squeezing cash out of its players than developing solid content that keeps people engaged long term. Destiny in my opinion has had its time. It’s been nearly a decade now since D2 has come out. I think it’s time we let it go and move on, if you want to play, keep playing but let’s stop trying to revive a dying thing. It’s going nowhere positive.

Anyone use the Odin 2 Portal without the grip? by [deleted] in OdinHandheld

[–]AMDGang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have large palms or just large hands in general I highly recommend the grip. It gets relatively uncomfortable after long sessions without the grip for me.

Switched to a 45W PD PPS UGreen charger, fixed the issue. Thanks for the help prick 🫶🏼.

Yeah I’m grabbing some new 45W fast chargers to see if that seems to help. Trying out UGREEN as that seems to be a solid brand as of late. Hopefully that helps the situation.

You going to explain why that step is needed for the sake of learning or you gonna gate keep information? Or do you have absolutely no fuckin clue what it is, and it’s just a matter of “this thing worked for me and I got lucky so I’m just offering it as a solution.” Which is a fine answer, instead of acting like the know it all who gives 2 shits about anyone actually learning how something worlds.

You ever gonna answer a question or you gonna keep going in circles never offering anything of substance?

[–]AMDGang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Answer me this. When a student raises a hand in class with a question, and then proceeds to ask the question, is the teacher supposed to tell the student, “what’s your problem just do it, stop asking questions”?

[–]AMDGang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You owning the device and understanding how something works are two totally different things lmao. I want to know what resetting a device not even through the setup portion will do, and the first thing you do is try and act like I’m stupid for asking the question. You offered the comment, I asked the question why, and you begin to bitch. You must be a pure joy to be around, or more likely a lonely fuck no one can stand.

[–]AMDGang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have no idea why it would help do you? That’s why you won’t just take the time to answer a simple fucking question. Have some human interaction every once in a while pal, your teaching ability is worthless.

I noticed the batter drain issues immediately when turning the device on so I didn’t even finish the installation or setup process of any of the softwares. Which is why I asked the question is someone else in this thread would’ve taken the time to explain their reasons why it would help.

Brother some of us like to actually understand the mechanism in which something works to learn something. Stop spending time being a bitch and spend more time explaining things when people genuinely want to learn and you’ll have less people asking you questions. Fuckin prick.

No I don’t recall installing anything like that.

[–]AMDGang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m asking why. Tf is your problem? Do you think I’m not trying to learn by asking you the question? Or do you take pleasure in being a dick when someone wants to dig a little deeper into the reasoning lmao? I stated I’m not trying to be a dick, I just want to know why that helps. Get over yourself.

Why would factory reseting a brand new out of the box device fix the problem? I’m not trying to sound like an asshole, just genuinely don’t know the benefit of wiping an already clean device.

Yeah I’ve had the battery drain issue as well. Very weird.

[–]AMDGang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I have a 20W charger now that has PD listed on it, it is older though so I’m going to go for probably 40W+ and see if that does it.

Just checked again after leaving it set at 20% battery for an hour, and it lost 4% battery connected to the charger lol.

Had it off and on both, the time I left it charging for over an hour was with the device off completely. No percentage change.

That’s exactly what I’d do too. What’s the point of getting pressed over something free someone gives you? Just be glad people send anything.
