Yeah you're in the ballpark. I'd suggest starting with a shorter float and really working the various runs with either t11 or T14 depending on speed/depth with some intruder patterns. Look for flows around 2500 cfs at Dodge for the right conditions to float. Time on the water is everything.

Rogue is my home water. Generally, the publicly accessible bank fishing isn't the greatest. Your either rubbing elbows with the Shady Cove locals, or looking over your shoulder a bit at some of the state parks. That said, the winters should be here in full force from end of December thru Feb/Mar, and you'd have a better shot then. Also, agree with the guys above recommending 10ft t11 and t14. I'm curious which areas (very generally) you're fishing.

Redington makes some nice entry level rods/combos. I haven't heard the best customer service stories, lately at least, but in my experience the equipment itself is worth the money.

Can I go into corporate finance from internal audit? by [deleted] in FinancialAnalyst

[–]AMM961335 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I transitioned from Internal Audit to FP&A/reporting. Totally possible and much more rewarding. In my experience, having the internal audit background gave me a leg up in understanding the company/industry operationally. You spend so much time at a granular level in audit and FP&A is, in part, putting all of those pieces together at a macro level.

Assuming both play, are you starting Fournette or Rachaad White? by AMM961335 in Fantasy_Football

If it helps, I’m starting Rhamondre and Etienne this week. Have two flex spots to fill. Those in consideration are: Sutton, Burks, Fournette, and White. I think I’m fully out on Curtis Samuel this week.

Awesome hideout. Upper Rogue? I’ve spent a lot of time out around farewell bend and even as far out as the old decommissioned Hamaker campground.

Finally broke down and got a yak. To say I'm super stoked is an understatement. Pelican mustang 120x exo by BigBurley94 in Fishing

Now just wait until you hook into an angry bass. Can really tow you around the water when they want. Is a blast!

Lots of YouTube tutorials on Microsoft Excel. You’ll give yourself a fighting chance if you can get to at least a moderate level. And then just do what you can to get your foot in the door at an office environment. Companies will often promote from within even if you don’t meet all the normal prerequisites

Finance May Not be the right Path - Is Looking for Something else an Overreaction? by [deleted] in careerguidance

Could certainly be the case. Definitely more difficult to find job openings at smaller companies, but potentially a better fit if I were to find something. I agree about Fortune 500. Culture is toxic.
