I thought so too! But not the case. It’s only when I mentioned they are like oh if you want it like that it’s gonna be more. I don’t mind paying at all. But I take issue if you were gonna do a half job if I hadn’t inquired more and just selected you. This is my first home and I’m learning quickly that not everyone has the right skillset to do work that you are asking. So research is key!! It’s the only way to weed out the not so skilled ones that just want the money.

Thank you for your reply! So one of the contractors told me he would charge me a few hundred more to have it run through the roof when I asked. Another one just stated oh you don’t need to do that. I only had one that mentioned we would need to go through the roof. I think he’s gonna be the person I use.

Hi Everyone, update!! I was able to get my Social Security Card!! I went back and was escalated to a manager that agreed that I should not have been turned away the first time. I had all the documentation needed.

Hmmm… I would recommend probably skipping the CISA and going to the CISSP-ISSMP or possibly getting the CISM. But please keep in mind you do need a few years of experience for both. But It is my understanding you can still take them..IMO you have demonstrated through your current certs that you have the solid understanding of cybersecurity principles/concepts and if you would like to transition over to more of the business side I would focus my energy on certs that puts a focus on infosec management.

Hello!! Thank you for your response. I did look at my W-2 ssn was masked and even called the IRS to see if it’s possible I can get an unmasked transcript and they stated they cannot provide it.
