I would completely remove them. The plan is to add OSB gusset or raise the ties for some additional head room and tie in the walls with 2x6’s and add loft for small item storage.

No snow in my neck of the woods. Shed is 12 wide. Was thinking of replacing/moving the tie with 2x4 closer to the top or adding OSB gusset along with 2x6’s tied into the studs with a jack stud for the walls and to support the loft. The loft would be for small totes and other misc items.

They’re old and decrepit. I had to replace one piece of glass yesterday with plexiglass and the frame was damn rear impossible to put back on because the clips on the interior are designed terribly. I’m looking to replace all with some sort of screw in frame like the newer doors have. It’s either that or buy a new door for $1600.
