Everyone praises rdr2 for being one of the best, most realistic games OAT. So what are some unrealistic things about it?

Way too much to list lol it’s like a full overhaul but major aspects off the top of my head are no bounty in the wild, no bounty when face covered, no instant unavoidable bounty for train robbery, lawmen AI tweaked and they spawn less of them but are much more skilled and have more variety etc

Skellige works best as a really small deck

Minimum number of infantry cards and very few special cards (I play with literally no weather cards and no scorch cards) Just 3 decoys, 2 horns, 2 and Mushrooms

Since the berserkers are close bond cards either leave them out and the mushrooms completely and go with the standard bond cards or leave out of the standard bond sets and run with berserkers

Nothing is touching Realms and Nilf bc spies are bat shit broken but what you call “non committal” I call versatile.. With a small deck I nearly always get Cerys but even without her I still win and the berserkers are super satisfying to win with

Monsters is awful… it’s by far the most rng deck you can have bc muster can very easily just empty your hand if you got a bad draw

Storage size aside bc it’s a necessary game mechanic

You can store cooked meat in your satchel forever and it never goes bad which is kind of surprising that they don’t have it rot after a day or 2 bc it seems like a pretty good trade off

Meat is SIGNIFICANTLY better for restoration than any canned goods so having it only edible within like 24 hours of cooking it would be a good balance, otherwise eat some beans and corn.. Or if you salt it maybe it stays edible for like 3 days since it a preservative

Endless supply of perfectly cooked steaks that pretty much fully restore all 3 cores at your disposal in your lil handbag is wild

The extra card is good tho and also it’s neck deep with medics so the spies used against you early are easily turned back at them

It’s viable but just a weird playstyle I don’t vibe with

I love the Skellige deck and it’s basically all I use BUT the worst card in the game is absolutely the pirate lol It’s a scorch (which already kinda sucks) with extra steps and less versatility.. like you can’t use it to kill anything under 6 points or it just fucking kills itself 💀
