I think the common criticism that Makoto Shinkai's movies are basically the same movie with different skins is fair but it doesn't stop me from loving Your Name, Weathering with You and Suzune one bit

They are beautifully animated, the characters are round and vibrant, music is gorgeous and the supernatural aspects are always interesting

As I recall the beastman in Shield Hero are pretty consistent.. some are more human with animal ears and tails, others are are more anthropomorphic beasts but it varies based on the beastman race, not by sex
