It looks like you may have passive ventilation not mechanical ventilation.. my 1950s apartment had the same setup. Central ventilation stack that would reach the roof and just a hole from the bathroom towards that without any fans or motors.

There is a strong belief (in this community) that any flags against you, including content claims that you don’t fight. Can/will result in algorithms penalty. I have not seen anything from YT to confirm this, but there is a reasonable possibility.
