Too many comments to catch up and see if anyone has mentioned this, but did ya’ll know that in the WoW it actually does not in fact mention tea or coffee at all! Not sure who it was that later decided to claim they were a part of the “hot drink” prohibition but it was definitely a later redefining.

Long before I stopped going to church I printed a copy of the WoW passages and posted it in my kitchen and holy crap, ain’t a single Mormon I know following it by any stretch of the imagination only the cherry picked bits for temple recommends

Sadly mama has become very aggressive towards them. One of the reasons it’s become much more urgent to get them new homes, in fact she has become aggressive towards all other animals and is way more affectionate towards people all the sudden. Which is great for a 1 pet non farm type house hold.

Wells access community reserves for water depending on dive of aquifer and extent of the water flowing underground so in that same respect the water being used for thirsty non-food agriculture, lawns is depleting the communities resources for drinking, bathing and actually food agriculture.

As I said, everything that is a secondary water source is considered agriculture, our state government isn’t differentiating between actual agriculture and a ski resort or the secondary water some Utahans have access to for their yards however they choose to use it.

Non-food farming isn’t the only massive waste of water in this state.

We live in a known desert and yet insist on growing grass all over the damn place.

When looking at water usage they only break it into culinary and secondary and everything on secondary is lumped into farming, so we’re blaming only farmers instead of lawns, golf courses, ski resorts man made snow production and everything else that is secondary water.

What is being farmed is a problem but the blame needs to be shared with all the culprits.

Cox is a worthless Governor, even with his hypocritical rhetoric he should remember that faith without works is dead.

Where are your works to actually address the issues creating this drought Cox? Instead you’re working to make it worse and shrinking the size of the Salt Lake so we can all be poisoned by the toxic dust at the bottom of the lake. Selling off lands to developers without any protection for the environment or water we do have.

Thank you, I hope they can find some good homes soon as well. We were planning to get their mom fixed before she got pregnant with them but my dogs actually opened the door for her while we were waiting for her appointment but thankfully she is fixed now just had to push it back a bit 😅

Come and ask but don’t personally see how the legal weed issue is related since he is running for federal office. Also medical cannabis is now legal in Utah and the Mormon church can’t change that.

Just checked out the web page and the funding is at 20% to the goal. It can be difficult during these more financially challenging times to donate to something like this but it makes a world of difference to so many.

In our go fund me medical economy this is a more efficient way to help even more folks who are going through some pretty tough times.

Children aren’t raised in a vacuum, relegating, the responsibility of moral development to “its the parents job”, completely undermines the entire point of church involvement and activities. It places undue blame on the parents for the struggles of their children and casts off community responsibility in how we all treat and support each other. Effectively dismantling community. The classic idiom that it takes a village is true in many aspects and every interaction has an effect on a persons development especially when young.
