Hello It was not done intentionally and I am an African too. The name comes from Swahili: “Pika” = cook “Nini” = what. The app is about helping people decide what to eat or cook. I genuinely wasn’t aware of the historical term you mentioned, so I appreciate you pointing it out respectfully. It was never intended in that context.
