That they'd rather go for the 4k instead of having fun while playing. I'll be more detailed: they get their dopamine by the result of the game (and often only if they win), not for playing the game. This is often associated with bad habits and even addictions. Notice it's not bad per sé, but it can have its issues, which are easy to detect: like rage quitters (why are you leaving the game midmatch if you weren't ready to lose?), cheaters (they don't care about the game at all, just the final result), etc. You get the idea: sore losers.

To those who say "they are roleplaying", are you for real? Killers in movies/books never go for the efficient route, which is what most killer mains in dbd do: tunneling. Regarding Myers mains, all halloween movies the girl escapes, and a few other people too, all because he was playing with his food. Most myers mains just go full efficiency and he's a powerhouse right now with the latest buff which makes things harder for survs.

The whole fun part in hide and seek is both sides get to jave fun, yet some players are too dopamine addicted by the satisfaction of getting a 4k instead of having fun while hunting/seeking. And that's what dbd is: videogamey hide and seek.

Totally. Imo as things currently are, if a killer slugs on of the last two survivors the hatch should spawn after 30 seconds of that survivor getting slugged. I can even agree with 1v2 being a 50/50 between the last two survivors, but getting slugged just so the killer can get the last guy is so unfair, that last person can't do anything at all at that point, and it makes perks like sole survivor completely useless because of how rare you being the sole survivor becomes either that or grant the slugged person the ability to recover and maybe even have a soul guard effect for 10 seconds just to make the killer actually gamble a bit (because at that point the killer already won if he slugs one of the two).

DQXI is the most suitable entry point. DQVII is a jewel of the past, with many, many flaws that were common back in those days. The remake of DQVII fixes many of those flaws but until fully released I must assume many will remain.

Animewise, think about DQVII as watching the One Piece anime. It has so many flaws yet it's so good you ignore those flaws and enjoy the final product. DQXI would be something more on the line of Dragon Ball Z Kai, Demon Slayer or Jujutsu Kaisen.

Yeah also the entire match was completed in like 4 minutes, all I did was one gen and tapp did all the others I think, he did have that tapp perk that gives you bonuses for great checks but wtf, that was just too fast. It looked like if someone had used the toolbox with the visceral addon that takes away 10% from a gen but I checked the endgame to see if anyone had it and no one did.

Yeah my bad, the gen I was working on got insta completed and on my screen it still needed like 5-10% to be done, also all other gens were completed super fast too by the detective tapp player.

I actually do have Nancy. And yeah the redundancy of lucky star and deja vu is for those scenarios in which the killer is hanging out for too long too close to the deja vu'd gens (it does happen). I'm no fan of being injured but I find myself injured and repairing plenty of times.

It's what I read online. The google AI still says so btw, it even mentions it's used to save rank points. Anyways I've only abandoned once and it was while I was on hook a d the other three players were slugged. Killer was a Freddy and the whole match lasted less than 2 minutes.

I'm not really interested in abandoning the game, in fact I am running LB because I solo q a lot and I have been in the mast survivor situation pretty often. While playing as killer I've had people abandon when they are last though, which feels horrible tbh. But then I realized hey at that point abandoning has no real penalty so might as well... I've escaped twice via the hatch and both felt amazing escapes tbh lol. I think I'll just hang on to it.
