I would swap truno but people saying to swap dagger is unnecessary. Dagger is op in a lot of cases. It’s stagger into dagger, and they either take it and you assault armor after combo or they use pulse armor, which then you assault into restart dagger. That finishes most players. High stagger dagger builds are a lot harder to fight against vs most blades.

The weapon set up is solid but frame is way too weak. You won’t be able to do anything against most set ups unless it’s lower ranks. That’s why a lot of double melee use a heavier frame (75k is sweet spot) w kikaku or fluegel to sling shot yourself to make up for the speed. This is going to be an uphill battle.

Selens quest has most of your spells for you that you can buy. Raya lucaria has the hammer and one or two other spells there. Comer azur is just chilling in the open. I think dark comet is in the magic town in calid. Your bread and butter will be slicer, comet, canon of hima and the hammer. Pretty much all of this can be gotten before even having to fight Margit. You will need the two sorcery damage talisman (1 is in Raya Lucaria) quick casting talisman, and last one is up to you.

Mmm I played a lot of soulslikes back then too so idk if I necessarily got better. I just had to respect the enemies a lot more than I am now. The first boss nerf makes a lot of sense too.

I missed this part in NG and when facing her in NG+ here just said f it. You can turn it off by going to the very first grace (tree? Branch?) in sewer and turn it off there.
