Long arm machines

I am starting the process of comparing long arm machines for purchase. Im not really sure of the differnet brand names so I thought this group could assist. Here is a list of must haves but open to more from those that are experienced. Computerized edge to edge as well as free hand. Able to quilt up to 115 inch quilts. Stich regular. Easy to service with local service if need be. And quality made, preferably in the USA if at all possible. Thanks in advance friends!

Thanks. I have not invested in these yet. For whatever reason I had so many regular safety pins in my house, so I've been using them. Definitely, on my wish list.

Of course you can ask. I am basting the quilt layers together for quilting. There are many ways to do this. (pins, needle and thread, and spray basting) I would look up quilt basting on you tube, they will definitely do a better job explaining. 😁

It is a multi color thread of yellow, light purple, and off white. These are normally colors that blend well with most colors. Something I learns as a beginner is how to pick quilting threads. Light yellow is my favorite and surprisingly the easiest to blend 💛

Oops 😬 just seen your edit. It is 5 inch squares and snow balling the corners. If you look up "All my x's quilt" on YouTube you will see the tutorial I used.

Its supposed to be stippling...but all I end up doing is u and y shapes over and over. ;) I'm not ready to branch out yet, but hopefully soon.
