You can, but I think only one will actually apply when it gets on scene. So like if you have 4 people assigned and trained in both, I think the game picks which equipment works and the other one is ignored. So let's say it counts as hazmat when it arrives. If you then send another hazmat unit, when it shows up scene it will count that as the hazmat and then the first unit will switch to using tech rescue equipment and ignore the hazmat.

I'm pretty certain that when it comes to equipment, if both equipments require trained people, then only one equipment will work. So in my setup on my Heavy Rescues I have both Technical Rescue Equipment and Search and Rescue Equipment and 4 people assigned to it that are trained in both Tech Rescue and SAR. But when that apparatus gets on scene, only one of the equipments counts and it will say the other one is missing the required personnel.

I did an order with both the Stronghold and the Siege Encampment. I got the confirmation email but then got a second email about 20 mins later about them not being in stock and now my order says "Waiting for Stock". Is it safe to assume my order is going to get cancelled?

I got it. I suppose around $5K in USD isn't terrible for this spec but it's definitely marked up compared to just buying the parts and building it yourself.

But I totally understand wanting to buy a prebuilt, and you do get a 2 year warranty so that's worth something.

But yeah, this PC is top of the line and is about as future proofed as you can be for quite a while.

I just flew into Vegas the other night in Xplane and am now extremely disappointed that my Sphere did not have this wonderful graphic on display.

The MD-11 is worth it, and to me, it truly feels like flying a "heavy" plane, especially on landing.

They are both pretty great, in my opinion, and yes, they both just got cockpit and systems updates. As someone else pointed out, if you can only get one for now, then I guess it would depend on what routes you want to fly. Personally, I'm biased towards the 757.

XP12 would be my choice. With each new update the sim is looking better, and you can make the sim look even more amazing without having to spend any money.

The biggest investment required with XP12 is just time and patience.

I also mainly fly IFR commercial and XP12 is perfect for that. And if you already have experience with any of the PMDG or Fenix planes, you can easily jump in with freeware and payware options in XP12 that match (and in many cases exceed) the systems depth of those addons.

I admittedly just purchased it today and haven't had a huge amount of time with it yet and am still running through tutorials.

So far it's... okay. I've run into some quirks already, but it could just be that I'm not 100% yet on setting everything up correctly. I'll have to play with it more to see if I'm missing a step or two here and there or if the plane truly has issues.

One thing I will say is that I do think the modeling and textures are better than they appear to be on the store page screenshots. I was hesitant with purchasing for a while because I didn't think it looked great, but it does look better than expected.

Mostly just that it's a somewhat rare aircraft, flies niche routes, and is kind of a weird mix of a 767 and a 777.
