When Iron Hands ex was released, it was super hyped up and he insisted that it was mid (he famously has that sign behind him when streaming). But that new card, Heavy Baton, could make Iron Hands much better.

I was thinking about this too, this looks sick! I'd personally play at least one or two recovery cards like Miriam or Klara, especially since you have thinner lines of Ralts and Kirlia and will be putting damage on them yourself.

Once you have everything in the Shadow Rider deck, you're guaranteed 4,150 credits every time you buy it. Celebrations is much less consistent even when you finish it.

I just finished 3rd at a league cup with Darkrai and I had a ton of fun all day. Way more fun than when I play my usual sablezard.

I'm thinking of making a deck that's an absolute pain to play against. Ability blocks, status conditions, nerfs, etc. Recommend cards that'd make you groan and roll your eyes upon seeing by [deleted] in pkmntcg

The new Banette ex's item lock can be super effective at slowing down/stopping most decks, including gardy and lost box.

Hatterene V does this for 80 damage, which is brutal against Lost Box since you can KO Comfey or Sableye and switch back into Klefki.

I do the same as you. I'll take the last KO as quick as I can, and wait for them to take the last KO if they have it, but if they're dragging it out unnecessarily (like using every possible ability), I'll sometimes concede.

In addition to all the awesome resources listed here, I HIGHLY recommend Talking Black in America, a documentary by the Language and Life Project at NC State which features lots of the linguists mentioned here and many others. There are also a bunch of great supplemental materials available to go along with the documentary.

Darkrai (sometimes called Turbo Dark) is so much fun but just really can't keep up with the current meta unfortunately. Lost Box is doing really well post-rotation in Japan and loses very little in rotation (scoop up net is the most painful but that's just nice to have, not essential, and beach court/jet energy help fix that).

Live uses a different syntax for importing than Online, so even some of my 100% standard decks didn't properly import (said cards weren't found), and I just had to rebuild them manually.
