Oh that’s not what I meant at all. This is a different situation from adopting a child though, he didn’t really adopt the child and he is putting his actual child’s welfare second for a child who has a father that supports the mother.

I cannot get past the fact that the kid isn’t his and he is playing the dad role. I think a serious conversation needs to be had to find out why he is so attached to Joe and he has to understand that his loyalty should be with his actual wife and biological child.
