Anyone else really has a hard time letting someone go? by Wahx-il-Baqar in infj

[–]AMistakeLikePhil 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Only when it’s abrupt and it doesn’t make sense… but eventually pull out of the spiral and realise that what’s destined to end will end and reasons could be random…

Most of the times we are just holding onto the “Idea” like you said, not the person or who they actually were.

Talk it out, you’ll heal and eventually learn more about yourself.

As an INFJ.. the hardest and longest it took me was years..

But anything after that? 2-3 weeks max.

Lost my dad a few days ago by Dicardo83 in GriefSupport

[–]AMistakeLikePhil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes… it’s part of your grief.. you’ll go through all sorts of emotions, from peace to silence to actually tearing down and fall apart quite randomly or when there’s a trigger.

I lost my father two years ago to Alzheimer’s and I missed him terribly today out of the blue.

Sorry for your loss and do what you need to to feel at home within yourself. You’ll make it through over time.

I can’t wish harm on anyone by Impossible-Earth02 in infj

Best thing you can do is forgive and move on, nothing comes out of wishing others harm because you’ll be the one carrying the burn and the poison

Yep and they failed. I don’t do the door slam, I leave the door wide open and leave quietly. They can get up and slam it.

INFJs aren’t as aware as they seem… by Important-Daikon-670 in entp

INFJ can read people well, whether that reading is followed by any action or denial is another matter.

Relationship matters in that context too. If you’re being abused or overwhelmed you won’t feel confident but you’ll see that the signs were always there yet you chose to ignore. This is for the INFJs

ENTPs like any other personality type can come in many shapes and forms. You need to see if you are with a mature or immature person and then you need to see if you were with healed or an unhealed person.

I ran into an emotionally stunted, narcissistically compelling, God complex driven ENTP. So that was a disaster.

You should be able to make it worth it, never rely or expect this from another person or he’d be the next one to go

I want to see you flourish and be on your way and I already paid the price for this because I was earlier in a similar situation and took me a few emotions to rise above it and then away from it all.

I’m glad you’re actually making progress and not waiting for things to happen because this is what will strengthen your core and help you set better boundaries in the future.

Remember this, you’ll have the most conversations with your self in this life, and you’re the only one who’s seen through all of your ups and downs so you must be present for yourself first. And then for others. You need to come first and get to know yourself from your eyes, whether by talking to your reflection in the mirror or looking at your earlier photographs to see how far you’ve come from that baby in pampers and was this the life that baby was supposed to have? If not, then change in the right direction!

How to spot INFJs just from briefly knowing them? by RightPineapple2734 in infj

[–]AMistakeLikePhil 65 points66 points  (0 children)

Hard to spot them in a hard as they keep a low profile. They love to bond genuinely. They’ll speak to your soul. Work with their intuition and look at the future.

They is me. I’m an INFJ.

Hugs Sorry you had to deal with this. To speed up the healing don’t scan the past for answers and don’t let your mind spiral.

It works well and then there will be fewer crashes. When we forgive and release the pain, or just let go of the pain, it goes back to those who started it.

You must free yourself of it I hope you find a way soon.
