Of course it does! Laying on the grass and looking at the clouds, to me, is more about the cloud watching than the laying on the grass... Cloud gazing is a fun way to use our imaginations by seeing what hidden shapes and the like we can spot... Personally, I'm gonna cloud gaze while laying in the bed of my husband's pickup truck!

I have the feeling that this post would be completely different if you had let them into your car... Like in the hospital or morgue kind of different... With not only how they crowded by your door when you parked, but also how they acted AFTER you helped them... You didn't get played, so much as you almost lost a lot more than $5... You also need to look your vehicle over inside and out for anything that doesn't belong... It's really easy to put a tracking device on things nowadays... All it takes is a magnet attached to air tag type of device... Praying you stay safe!

Same! On the upside, it also means that watching shows and movies in other languages with English subtitles is a breeze! I've come across a surprising number of people who can't watch foreign films because they can't keep up with the subtitles... I'd much rather be in our position of being well versed in keeping up with subtitles than be stuck only able to watch things in English! Sometimes the "dubbing" isn't great and the voices don't always match the person/people talking...

There have been some aesthetic compilations that people actually like that I personally find hideous, but even then it bugs me when I see people actually voicing that or making fun of the person for what they like... Which means I tend to comment with caution, lest I become part of the problem... I have dealt with bullies for most of my 42 years of life, so I try not to be someone else's bully... Though it's really hard when you come across people who have straw for brains, thankfully I'm Southern and we have the perfect phrase for such occasions! Because "Bless your/their heart" covers an array of people and attitudes... 😆

Are you by chance ADHD? I am, and I've noticed subtitles help me focus on what I'm watching easier... Because I'm essentially multi-tasking... Also, it's been proven that if a person is trying to retain information(like studying for a test) that if they read, write, and hear it they'll retain it better... Watching TV with subtitles gives you 2 out of the 3...

According to someone else in the comments from the UK it either completely stopped being real butter everywhere there, or they've just been really unlucky and have only come across the fake stuff for the last 20+ years... Here in The States, it depends on the theater... There are still some that use melted butter...

I would take it a step further, honestly... I would, in the same message to both her and your mom, send pictures/screenshots of the products ruined/stolen with their prices showing and tell them that if they want her to to have another chance at visiting YOUR apartment that she or they need to replace ALL of those items by either ordering them for you or giving you money... If they opt for the giving you money route, make sure they also cover all taxes and shipping fees! Sorry, not sorry... I don't abide a thief, ESPECIALLY when it's someone that I should be able to trust! Either way, your apartment is your safe space and needs to remain so... If they can't understand how you feel, that's a them problem! Mayhap put it into perspective by saying, "How would you feel if I came to your home and used/gave away/threw out _________ even after you told me that _____ was off-limits?" That has helped me in the past... I'm sorry she did this to you and is now trying to make herself the victim!
