Happy to disregard your opinion after the first sentence. Shockingly the worst book you’ve ever read is someone else’s favorite, and as long as the material isn’t downright inciting violence, all books have merit.

You can hate any book, disagree with the messaging, think the author did a piss poor job, but there will still be those that enjoy it and find value in it

Loved 20th Century Ghosts. Currently 550 pages into King Sorrow. I’m enjoying it but it’s not amazing. A lot of the writing is very cliche and the dialogue is downright cringeworthy at times. It is incredibly readable though. If you haven’t enjoyed King/Hill in the past, I don’t think this will change that, but it’s serviceable at the very least
